Time Bandits

I was watching Time Bandits with Freda on Saturday while mom was in Seattle for the night. Yeah totally, a Terry Gilliam kid's movie and one of my favorites at that. We did not finish it and I skipped over a few parts I felt might be 'too scary'. Especially the ending of the movie as it gets pretty intense.

The next morning, she comes in and wakes me up babbling about horses and things with long noses. After i came out of my sleep stupor I realized she what she was talking about. She had gotten up early and went out and finished watching it...

"you know those things with the big horns and long noses and the black robes?" She goes on. "Well they were a a little bit scary (holding her fingers just enough to let light between) and they were cool from that wall to that wall." Pointing from one end of the house to the other.

Oh Freda...Nothing wrong with Beetlejuice, Time Bandits and Nightmare Before Christmas being your favorite fairy tales.
