This picture was not staged. Freda was messing around under Grandma Freda's bed and thought she got stuck.

Busy
She arranges plants and weeds into letters and words. The horsetails make perfect little lines for constructing letters. She loves to hang out on the unfinished path to the Art House.
A wildcat the girls have named "Licky Martin" is being groomed for outdoor rodent dispersal.
Father's Day 2011
We went for a drive on Fathers Day and ended up at Mt Baker. It was cloudy and chilly and damp. We got cold and wet. But oh man did we laugh.
We had no change of clothes for Freda so I wrapped her up in my sweatshirt and stocking hat and she curled up in her new booster seat and nibbled on Jujyfruits for the ride home.

There's a First for Everything
Her First WHATCHMACALLIT, my favorite candy bar as a kid. Alas, now that I am dairy free I can only live vicariously through her on this one. She has been really into wanting to know what I did as a kid, what I ate as kid, what I watched as a kid. And then want to do that same thing.
We told her it had pooped out caramel on the end...hehehe.
Things like that you cannot explain to people, you have to live it. Parenthood is a constant barrage of this. Sometimes it's a gentle rain. Other times, a hailstorm.June 4, 2011
